Hello! My name is Lisa and I am a self taught painter who currently moves between Revelstoke and Salmon Arm, BC. In the summers, I live in Salmon Arm, where I am employed as a forest firefighter. I enjoy this work immensely and feel privileged to travel the province and spend most of my time outdoors. In the winters, I head to Revelstoke to ski and work on my art.

Growing up in the small mountain town of Smithers, BC, weekends were spent hiking and cross country skiing and I have always been enthralled by the mountains. My outdoor pursuits inspire my artwork as I strive to bring fond memories of the outdoors inside. I use acrylic paint on birch panels or live edge wood and typically use the wood as a background as I love how each piece of wood has a unique grain to add to the piece.
